Staff

Evangelist: Thomas Ramundo

Last year Thomas Ramundo taught us that you are only as strong as your prayer life. This year as Cattaraugus Family Camp Evangelist he will be teaching us about Romans 8:11, the same power that raised Christ is in you! Thomas will be engaging and challenging you through the word of God.

Bible Teacher: Jerry Sutton

Jerry Sutton grew up in Salamanca and has been a part of Catt Camp his entire life. He has been married to Coleen for 34 years, and together they have 4 awesome sons (Will, Ben, Drew & Rob) and 2 wonderful daughter-in-laws (Hannah & Danielle). Jerry has degrees from RWC and Asbury Seminary. He recently retired from 36 years of Pastoral Service in NY, PA and MI. He has served at various camps as Preacher, Music Leader, Bible Teacher, Youth Pastor and Dishwasher. Jerry will be leading the Adults through a study of Ecclesiastes. The Book of Ecclesiastes wrestles with the question, “Is life worth living?” As we compare and contrast life lived apart from God with a life lived for God, I pray that you will discover the true purpose, meaning, and joy that God has for your life through this amazingly candid look at the human experience.

Missionaries: Rich & Laurie Sheriff

Rich and Laurie serve in San Pedro de la Paz, on the edge of Concepción, Chile. Rich is an elder in the Keystone Conference. After years of pastoring in the U.S. and leading short-term mission teams to various parts of the world, the Chilean Conference of the FMC invited the Sheriffs to come full time and plant bilingual churches. Along with church planting, they work in leadership development and encouraging local FM pastors, families and churches.

Music Leader: Luke Duttweiler

.

Luke Duttweiler is a worship leader and songwriter with a passion for authentic worship and artistry. Luke (statistician) and his wife, Emma (project manager), spend their days trying to keep up with their two-year-old Sebastian, serving as youth leaders, and squeezing in work when time permits. This is Luke’s second time leading music for Cattaraugus Family Camp, and he is delighted to be back!

Young Adult Leader: Rob Hoose

Rob Hoose has been coming to Cattaraugus Family camp since 2005 when his wife Reverend Megan Hoose lead teens with Pastor Randy Lebaron. Since that first camp Megan and Rob have added to teens of their own (Jessup 15 and Aaron 13) that have been going to camp their entire lives (Aaron started at just a few weeks old). This year Rob is leading the young adult bible study exploring the book of Job and the gospels. He is looking forward to another great year of camp.

Teen Leaders: Will Sutton

Hey camp family, I’m Will Sutton. I’ve been attending camp since I was born. This will be my 5th year doing teens (that doesn’t seem real). I work at the Huron Area Technical Center in Bad Axe, Michigan as a Student Supervisor. I’ve been on the path of working with teens for quite some time now. It’s definitely been what God called me to do, and he keeps me on that path even when I find it difficult. I love working with the teens and helping establish a good foundation for their relationships with God. Let’s have another amazing camp week.

Teen Leaders: Robby Sutton

Robby will be co-leading the teens with his older brother, Will, again this year as the Bible teacher. After teaching in the school system for two years, Robby has returned to his own education by pursuing a MA in Classical Education with Hillsdale College and has just completed his first year of the program. He currently works for the Hillsdale K-12 Education Office, where he has done extensive work in the research and organization of a textbook of Western History. During camp, he is looking forward to discussing theology, playing some tabletop games, and participating in pickup sports, especially Ultimate Frisbee. Grace of God the Father and the peace which comes through Jesus Christ to all the Catt Camp family.

Children’s Leaders: Karl & Laura Sisson

Laura and Karl Sisson are excited to lead our children’s program for the 14th year. They consider it pure joy to provide a fun-filled learning experience each morning that includes music and singing, relatable Bible stories, hands-on crafts and activities, snacks, and recreation. This year’s theme is Stellar where the children will discover how they can shine Jesus’ love and hope in their everyday lives. The Sisson family lives in nearby Houghton, NY where Karl serves in leadership at Houghton University and Laura teaches at nearby Fillmore Central School. They thoroughly enjoy spending time with their family and watching their four active children (Carter, Zach, Isaiah & Lily) participate in a variety of college and high school pursuits.
